With March just around the corner we have been discovering all things green. Everything from green gifts to green goodies. We came across a quick, easy, cheap, and delicious treat that will make your guests want to scream! Not to mention the adorable presentation.

If you notice we are supporting the whole go green, during the month of green, with our reusable Mason Jars.

| WHAT YOU NEED | 

Half Pint Mason Jars (If you do not already have them)

Oreos 

Mint chocolate chip ice cream

Cool Whip or Heavy Whipping cream

| DIRECTIONS |

**Set ice cream out to soften**

1. Separate the Oreo cookies and scrap out the creme. You will want to do this with 16-20 Oreos.

2. Crush the Oreo cookies up until finely ground.

3. Pour 2 tablespoons of melted butter into the cookie crumbs and mix together. Set aside.

4. If using heavy whipping cream: whip until stiff peaks are just about to form. Add powder sugar & vanilla until peaks form. Set aside.

5. Poor 1-2 heaping spoonfuls of cookie crumb into your Mason Jars. Pack down gently with spoon.

6. Scoop ice cream into jars until you have about 1/2 an inch is left at the top.

7. Put a small dollop of whipped creme on top and sprinkle with cookies.

8. Set in freezer until ready to serve! We advise you place them in the freezer form 30-45 minutes.

Preparation time 10-12 minutes

Serves 5-7 people.
