HOMEMADE GOLDEN OREOS

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 8 minutes
Yield: 3 dozen

Ingredients

1 box yellow cake mix
2 eggs
2/3 cup soften butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Frosting

1 pkg. powdered sugar (2 lbs.)
8 oz. cream cheese
8 tablespoons soften butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
A splash of milk if needed

Directions
 • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
 •  In a large mixing bowl, beat the soften butter, cake mix, eggs and vanilla together. Beat until smooth.
 • Using a small scoop or melon baller, scoop out evenly sized batter balls. Place the balls on a greased baking sheet about two inches apart
 • Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
 • Make the frosting by beating the sugar, butter, vanilla and cream cheese together. Beat until smooth. If the frosting is not smooth add a dash of milk.
 • Once cookies have cooled, add a dollop to one cookie and then push a second cookie on the bottom.
 • You can serve warm or to help make it so the frosting does not squish out the sides when eating you can refrigerate for about 12-15 minutes.
Bon Appetite!
