Easter Brunch

With Easter just a week away we were excited to put together a table setting that was simple yet festive. We had a family brunch and decided it was the perfect time to put something together. The setting was simple, yet gave the brunch a more put together feel. It really was quick and easy.

Each setting had a small and large light blue melamine plates that we found at Crate and Barrel for $3.00 a piece. To mark each place setting we used brown eggs that we already had in the refrigerator and wrote each guests name on them.

As you can see we used succulents to decorate the center of the table. We believe you can't go wrong when using succulents. We placed them inside tin buckets that we used for a previous event (found at Hobby Lobby for $2.00 a piece). The chicks should look familiar from our spring centerpiece. We felt the chicks gave our table a burst of color and a more Easter feel.

The food was simple, but so delicious. We made one ham and one sausage breakfast casserole. We also cut up some fruit for our guests to enjoy. We placed our drinks in glass bottles we found at IKEA for $4.00 a piece. The bottles give a more dainty appeal than just placing the original juice container on the table, but of course is not necessary.

The brunch was a success and so was our table setting. Our guests felt very welcome and enjoyed the soft feel of the decorations.
